Equioxx is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory oral paste for horses for the control of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis in horses.Dosage Administration The recommended dose is 0.045 mg/lb (0.1 mg/kg) body weight daily for up to 14 days. See product insert for full product information.Contraindications Horses with hypersensitivity to Firocoxib or other NSAIDS should not receive EQUIOXX oral paste.Each syringe contains 6.93 grams of Equioxx paste (0.82% firocoxib) sufficient to treat a 1250 lb horse. A prescription is required for this product.
