| Description:
This product is a modified live virus vaccine of Bovine Herpes Virus-1 (BHV-1 or IBR virus) indicated as an aid in the prevention of disease caused by Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis (IBR) in cattle. Available in (100mL) 50 dose size. Indications: For the vaccination of healthy, non-pregnant cattle, 3 months of age or older, as an aid in the prevention of respiratory and reproductive disease as well as elimination of viral shedding in latently affected cattle caused by Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis, (BHV-1 or IBR virus). Duration of immunity has been demonstrated to be at least 182 days. Calves nursing immune dams should be vaccinated when maternal antibody levels will allow active immunization. Vista IBR SQ is indicated for the vaccination of healthy cows and heifers prior to breeding as an aid in the prevention of abortion caused by IBR.
Mixing Directions:
Rehydrate freeze-dried vial of Vista IBR SQ with part of the accompanying vial of diluent using the transfer needle provided. Mix reconstituted vial well and transfer rehydrated vaccine back into remainder of diluent vial using transfer needle. Remove transfer needle from former diluent vial and mix reconstituted vial well. Peel label from bottle of Vista IBR SQ and place on diluent vial containing all vaccine. Administration: Inject 2mL subcutaneously (SQ) into healthy, non-pregnant cattle, 3 months of age or older. Annual vaccination is recommended. Caution: Store refrigerated at 2-7°C. Do not freeze. Do not vaccinate within 21 days prior to slaughter. Use immediately after reconstitution and dispose of unused portions. All unused product and containers should be disposed of in approved appropriate biomedical waste containers in accordance with local regulations pertaining to biomedical waste disposal. Consult your veterinarian regarding indications for the use of IBR vaccination in your herd. In case of anaphylactic reaction, administer epinephrine immediately. For veterinary use only. |
