Eastern and Western Encephalomyelitis (Sleeping Sickness),
Equine Influenza Vaccine and Tetanus Toxoid
A combination of inactivated, purified, concentrated, adjuvanted, tissue culture origin, Encephalomyelitis Virus, Eastern and Western, Equine Influenza Virus subtypes A1 and A2 including KY 93 strain, and Tetanus Toxoid. Intervet serological data suggest cross protection against certain U.S. and European strains, including Prague 56, KY63, KY 81 and 87, Fountainbleau 79, and Berlin 84 and 89. For vaccination of healthy horses against Eastern and Western Equine Encephalomyelitis, Equine Influenza Virus and Tetanus. For primary immunization, aseptically inject 1 mL intramuscularly and repeat the dose in 3 to 4 weeks. A 1 mL dose should be administered annually, and at any time epidemic conditions exist or are reported and exposure is imminent. Store at 35o to 45o (2o to 7o C). Shake well before using. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Local reactions may occur if this product is given subcutaneously. Inject deep into the muscle only. Injury should be followed by a booster dose of a vaccine containing Tetanus Toxoid. Consult your veterinarian regarding indications and precautions for the use of Tetanus Antitoxin. Anaphylactoid reactions may occur. Epinephrine. Neomycin, polymyxin B and nystatin added as preservatives. Code: E-667-1 10 X 1 mL (1 dose) sterile syringes per box, individually printed plastic bag with needle. Code: E-667-10 10mL (10 doses)vial.
