Esbilac Liquid, 8 oz

Esbilac Liquid Milk replacer by Pet-Ag is recommended as a food source for orphaned or rejected puppies or those nursing, but needing supplemental feeding. Also, recommended for growing puppies or adult dogs that are stressed and require a source of highly digestible nutrients.
Dosage and Administration:
Orphaned Puppies: All puppies should receive their dam's milk for at least two (2) days, if possible. The colostrum milk gives extra nutrition and temporary immunity against some diseases.
Esbilac® Liquid may be fed at the daily rate of two (2) tablespoons per four (4) ounces (1/4lb) of body weight. The daily feeding rate should be divided into equal portions for each feeding. Puppies' needs will vary and this amount may have to be increased or decreased, depending on the individual. Larger puppies do well when fed Esbilac® Liquid every eight (8) hours. Small or weak puppies may need to be fed Esbilac® Liquid every three (3) or four (4) hours. Weigh the puppy three (3) times a week to ensure adequate feeding. Consult a veterinarian for advice. Esbilac® Liquid should be fed at room temperature.
Food Supplement: Esbilac® Liquid is a digestible source of nutrients.When a food supplement is desired, for growing puppies and show dogs or for supplementing large litters, old, or convalescent dogs, mix Esbilac® Liquid into the daily ration at the rate of one (1) tablespoon per 5lbs (2.2kg) of body weight.
Pregnant and Lactating Bitches: Mix Esbilac® Liquid into the daily ration at the rate of two (2) tablespoons per 5lbs (2.2kg) of body weight until two (2) weeks after whelping.
