KMR Powder Milk Replacer by Pet-Ag is recommended as a food source for orphaned or rejected kittens or those nursing, but needing supplemental feeding. Also, recommended for growing kittens or adult cats that are stressed and require a source of highly digestible nutrients.
Directions for Use: All kittens should receive the mother's milk for at least 2 days, if possible. This colostrum milk gives extra nutrition and temporary immunity against some diseases.
Warm reconstituted KMR to room or body temperature. Feed kittens 2 tablespoons per 4 ounces (115 g) of body weight daily. Small and/or weak kittens should be fed every 3 to 4 hours. Larger and/or older kittens can do well being fed every 8 hours. divide the daily feeding amount into equal portions for each feeding. The amount required should be increased or decreased to meet the individual requirements for each kitten. Weigh the kitten daily to assure that they are receiving adequate KMR.

The Pet-Ag 2 oz (60 mL) Esbilac Small Animal Nurser is suited for feeding most kittens. When kittens are old enough to lap, begin offering reconstituted KMR in a saucer. During the 4th week, mix reconstituted KMR with Weaning Food. Use of the KMR and Weaning Food will allow the kitten to be gradually switch to solid food.
Pregnant and lactating queens: Feed 2 teaspoons (4 g)KMR Powder per 5lbs (2.2kg) body weight daily until 2 weeks after queening.
Growing kittens, show cats, and/or convalescing cats: Feed 1 teaspoon (2 g) KMR Powder per 5lbs (2.2kg) body weight daily.
